Teledyne Scientific & Imaging’s
Co-op/Internship program gives you the opportunity to apply and
cultivate your knowledge
in a real-world setting. You will work directly with our technical
staff on projects that will maximize your experience. You will
be placed in an area of technology relevant to your field of study,
which may include:
- Electronics
- Imaging
- Information
Sciences
- Materials
Technology
Teledyne Scientific & Imaging is involved
in the latest cutting-edge technologies from laser protection
eyewear for the Air Force to infrared focal plane arrays
for the James Webb Space Telescope that will detect the first light-emitting
objects to form after the Big Bang.
Our internships
are held in our Thousand Oaks and Camarillo facilities. Participants
are
provided with a competitive salary and may also
qualify for college credit through their school’s co-op
program. Positions can be part time during the school year and
full time
during the summer months. Summer intern assignments begin as
early as April
and may continue through September.
Eligibility
To be considered for one of our positions, you must be currently
enrolled in a college or university and have authorization
to work in the U.S.
We are usually
looking for students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical
Engineering, Materials Sciences,
Applied Physics, and Business but other majors may also apply.
