Collaborative Signal Processing for Mine Counter-Measures  

Teledyne Scientific Company develops virtual prototyping environments in which a complete automatic target recognition (ATR) system can be designed and evaluated against real data with relative ease. The current application is mine countermeasures in shallow water. The main objective of this program is to develop a suite of visual toolboxes in order to facilitate algorithm development, performance assessment, and in-situ performance optimization. This is done by employing the latest state-of-the-art algorithms in signal processing, image processing, feature optimization, classification, data mining, and data fusion.
